...fourty/threehundredsixyfive...

TTV (through the viewfinder) is an interesting technique that I haven't played with in a long time.  Over a year ago I built a TTV tube out of tin chimney pipe, electrical tape, and velvet.  The heart of this contraption is an old Kodak Duaflex twin reflex camera.

I know you are a rolling you're eyes now but it's a simple concept.  You take an old twin reflex camera, the little box ones with the big square viewfinder on the top (twin-reflex), and frame your shot in it's viewfinder.  Then you take your digital camera and focus on the image in the viewfinder of the old camera and take the shot.

It's really kind of a pain in the ass but it's a neat effect.
