The magnolia is in full bloom.  I adore this little bush.  It's so great because it looks nearly dead in early spring, just sticks.   Then these furry blossoms start growing from the bare branches and suddenly it explodes with flowers.  Just bare branches and flowers.  The petals finally fall (too soon) and only then do the little green leaves start popping out of other furry pods.

It's really spring... (I hope)

This first shot was taken using "trap focus" (see day 77) and after 125+ frames of an empty feeder due to the wind blowing it into the focus point I brought out the 300mm tele-macro and took the rest hand held.

I bought my girls matching rubber boots today.

I had a wonderful dinner out with my girls.  Sushi then back home to finish the mini-remodel of our daughter's room.  You know those big wall decals that are so great and easy...they're not.

I remembered my mother's old Underwood typewriter has been waiting for me in the garage.  I've had some photo ideas for it rattling around but for tonight just a little simple macro.
