Broke out the American Flyer train set. My dad got this for christmas when he was a boy and it's still chugging. It runs around the track with a loud electrical bzzzzzz, sparks a-flying. Fantastic fun! It's got a light up train station complete with little people, a bubbling oil well, a water tower with a electric activated spout that sounds like a snare drum, a bridge, and even a cattle car with cattle loading station that sounds like an old electric razor in a tin can when it's activated. Someday I'd like to have it professionally cleaned/refurbished and install it permanently in some sort of man-caveish location.

i enjoy your blog, i am going soon to see a whole village with trains and buildings have been told it is incredible.
