I'm obsessed with miso soup. It's my new favorite food and I eat it nearly every day for lunch (when I remember to make it).
Tonight I created a masterpiece. At the store I thought I'd jazz up the flavor by adding Shiitake/Oyster/Baby Bella mushrooms and I grabbed a bag of Arame (variety of kelp) on a whim. Then I ran over to the Asian section to (once again) be disappointed by Wegman's not having a key miso ingredient and, to my great surprise, they had Hon-Dashi Stock!!!! Boy did that make a difference from regular veggie broth. It smells like fish food when it's dry and I was worried but it soooo good.
I'm loving the off camera flash.
