...threehundredsixtyone/threehundredsixtyfive...

My wife's grandfather is a lifelong carpenter and in his later years he has become more of an artist.  Every year for Christmas he makes me something special.

Ten days to go and I'm as void of creativity as I've ever been all year.  So when you're all out of creativity do something completely random...like toss some citrus out in the snow.

My grandfather's "Round Toit".  An appropriate subject for a busy day, last minute blog post.

Time for a orthodontal update, pretty impressive progress for only about a month. See day 315.

Broke out the American Flyer train set.  My dad got this for christmas when he was a boy and it's still chugging.  It runs around the track with a loud electrical bzzzzzz, sparks a-flying.  Fantastic fun!  It's got a light up train station complete with little people, a bubbling oil well, a water tower with a electric activated spout that sounds like a snare drum, a bridge, and even a cattle car with cattle loading station  that sounds like an old electric razor in a tin can when it's activated.  Someday I'd like to have it professionally cleaned/refurbished and install it permanently in some sort of man-caveish location.

I took little walk my little girl tonight.  There's 50 inches of snow out there.

I know I caught hell here for the same sentiments last winter but... I really loathe snow.  A few inches is tolerable and manageable but there's 3+ feet of it outside and it's not supposed to let up until tomorrow night. If human's were meant to live in conditions such as these we would look more like Sasquatch and less like naked mole rats.
Why don't you move, you grump!  You say?    ...I'm working on it.
